Para/Quad
works closely with me and my attending physicians.
That's why I have never been rehospitalized in the fourteen
years since my injury.

For clients being
discharged from acute care or those with high tech needs,
our staff members provide skilled assessment and intervention.
With our skilled care, we can often catch medical problems
early and assure quick intervention and treatment.
We
provide short term nursing care for clients who are discharged
from the hospital and need support until they are able
to return to their usual level of independence. Our nurses
and attendants provide care and close supervision to lessen
the anxiety of traumatic injury when making the transition
from a rehabilitation facility to home and community.
With
our expertise in catastrophic injury and illness, we often
eliminate or minimize the common problems associated with
immobility that can lead to costly hospitalizations.
Because
our clients with mobility impairment have specialized
needs, our nurses offer even more than nursing care. In
this one-on-one care environment, our nurses may assist
with light housekeeping chores, drive a client for an
errand, or prepare meals.
With
our 24-hour on-call policy, our clients are assured of
immediate response to urgent nursing or staffing questions.
Because our unique focus is the care of persons with mobility
impairment, we specialize in the following illnesses and
injuries that radically change a person's lifestyle and
health status: Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury,
Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Neurological Disorders, Orthopedic
Injuries, and Pediatric Neurological disorders.
